On The Go With Mo and The Jimmy Fund (Sept.17, 2006)
Mo with new friend Monica from Arizona, a cancer survivor.
Monica finished her latest round of chemotherapy in August
and said that she was grateful that the walk was scheduled
in September - it gave her a reason to get out of bed every
morning and train for the event. The side effects from the
chemo left her extremely weak and lethargic. Monica made it
to three miles a day the week before she boarded the plane
to Boston, and finished the Jimmy Fund Walk in just over an
hour. Congratulations Monica on a job well done! You are
another "On The Go With Mo" real life hero!
